Bacteria and Viruses
These micro organisms are pathogens which can cause infections, fever and host of other symptoms.

Fungi and mould

Flakes of dry skin
We shed as much as 1.5 grams of dry skin flakes daily. In fact, 80 percent of the material seen floating in a sunbeam is actually dry skin flakes! A large amount of skin flakes end up in the mattress and produces a bedroom odour.

These include salt from perspiration, dried urine, possibly dried semen and other bodily fluids.
