The Hygienitech® machine is a specially engineered high-powered, portable device, which combines these two features:

1. Incredible suction with high frequency waves 

• The machine uses the Micron Magic HEPA filtration system.  HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Arrest) filtration system captures and retains 99.97% of household dust, pollen, dust mites and other particles down to 0.3 micron, and 99.95% of spores and bacteria down to 0.1 micron.
• The high frequency waves will loosen and vibrate all the dirt and dust mite excrement accumulated deep in the mattress, regardless of the mattress size, thickness and age.

2. Anti-bacterial radiator with  a germicidal UV-C light

• The UV-C light is germ-killing and is used to kill dust mites and their eggs, bacteria, viruses and fungus.
• UV-C deactivates the DNA of dust mites, bacteria and viruses thus destroying their ability to multiply. See below on how UV-C works.

UV-C LIGHT is germicidal - i.e., it deactivates the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens and thus destroys their ability to multiply and cause disease. Specifically, UV-C light causes damage to the nucleic acid of microorganisms by forming covalent bonds between certain adjacent bases in the DNA. The formation of such bonds prevent the DNA from being unzipped for replication, and the organism is unable to reproduce. In fact, when the organism tries to replicate, it dies.
